In striving to continuously improve our service we are delighted to announce some major staff changes and restructuring in the company this week.

Rob Potten, (former Head of Technical Design) has this week been appointed our new Operations Manager. This is a new position created to improve on our productivity and service.

Rob will be working in collaboration with the design team and Sam Pechtel-Slatcher (Production Manager) to identify areas where improvements can be made once a project is secured. Rob will be leading the development and implementation of new systems and strategies which should lead to an increase in the overall efficiency and competitiveness of Touch Design Group and further improve on the quality of what we ae able to offer our clients.

Rob has been with TDG since 2011 and is passionate about what the company does. This passion, enthusiasm and the knowledge gained over numerous roles within the company as CNC manager, Head of Technical Design and as a Project Manager, sets him in good stead to take on this role.

Rob says “I am looking forward to, and am excited about engaging more with all aspects of the running of a project, having an oversight of the whole process and an opportunity to have  input into all the projects that Touch Design Group take on. “

As well as being enthusiastic about his work at TDG Rob is also a keen runner. He is often donning his running gear at lunchtime to run a few kilometres along the canal side and competes in local events. Away from work he enjoys time with his family and getting out and about in our lovely Devon surroundings.
