Touch Design Group (TDG), the highly experienced designers and makers of quality bespoke kitchens and furniture, have launched Touch Cucina – and will now be offering a contemporary Italian modular kitchen range sourced directly from Italy, alongside their bespoke and truly unique couture kitchens.
Touch Cucina was developed as a direct response to customer demand for high quality kitchens that offer a wide array of finishes, colours and styles. The extensive range and options of the Italian brand allow for stunning and unique designs at a more accessible cost.
TDG are kitchen experts, and they are now combining their extensive knowledge and exceptional customer service with Italian creativity, flair and cutting-edge manufacturing. This is allowing them to offer kitchen solutions across a much wider spectrum to their own clients, as well as architects, interior designers and developers.
As with all TDG projects, Touch Cucina provides a comprehensive service, from initial consultation, through to the complete design and specification process, and finally installation and sign off. All aspects of the process are managed directly from their impressive HQ in Exeter, where they have showrooms, design studios and full manufacturing facilities.
Ella Glencross and Rhys Warren have now also joined TDG as part of the new Touch Cucina team as the business continues to grow. They are developing and adding capacity to the Touch Kitchen department which has previously concentrated on couture kitchens.
As well as being an experienced kitchen designer, Ella studied fine art at college and is also continuing to study for her degree in interior design. She will work closely with clients to develop and design their kitchens, producing drawings and renders to bring their dream kitchens to life. With her broad range of skills Ella is a great addition to the team.
Ella said: “I’m delighted to be joining TDG at such an exciting time, and to be part of the team developing this new concept is fantastic. I’m also looking forward to visiting Italy to see the factory and meet more of the team. The opportunity to design kitchens using their products is very exciting: having such a wide range of styles, finishes and colours available gives us the opportunity to design and install outstanding kitchens”.
Rhys Warren’s role is to refine and develop the presentation drawing techniques for both TDG and Touch Cucina. Rhys is an industrial design graduate, and he will be leading our 3D technology and augmented reality development. His work will include the creation of 3D environments, bringing interiors to life and allowing clients to feel how their new spaces will flow by experiencing the play of light, texture and colour in immersive 3D.
Rhys said: “The work that TDG produce is stunning. They pride themselves on their attention to detail and customer service, which I’ve now seen first-hand. I’m looking forward to honing my skills and developing imagery which will communicate their design and ethos at a different level than has previously been possible.”
David Crosby, one of TDG’s directors, commented: “We have been listening carefully to our customers and have developed the new brand, which combined with our existing customer service, responds directly to their requirements. Touch Cucina adds a new dimension to the business, dramatically increasing the scope of what we can offer and making us accessible to a far wider clientele.”
